I got to chat with owners, and sisters, of Dear Darby. Dear Darby is a company that creates gowns and robes for labor and delivery that are beautiful, functional and comfortable. They also offer birth classes. Aleena and April have created an amazing resources and a community that supports mom in their births. Aleena and April are sisters, doulas, and childbirth educators with a combined 15+ years of experience in the birthing industry. They own Dear Darby luxury labor gowns and are passionate about helping women have positive birth experiences. It was through their own birth experiences that put them on the path with a mission to help women know that birth is the coolest! That our bodies can do the most amazing things! Aleena is a mother of 4 kids, including a set of twins. She is a certified master herbalist and iridologist. If there is a party, Aleena wants to be there! April has 5 kids, all unmedicated out of hospital deliveries, and loves being a mom. April's favorite treat is a spoonful of peanut butter dipped in chocolate chips.
