For the first time on the podcast, I am doing a dual interview with a fellow podcaster, colleague and friend from MOMentum Radio, Brooke Markevicius! Broke and I talk about time management and balance in our homes and what that looks like right now during COVID-19. We are very legit with you about all the things we are going through, what is and is not working, and some words of hope to help you get through the thick of this unique time right now!
Brooke Markevicius is the Founder and CEO of MOMentum Market, an online marketplace of goods and services powered by moms. After getting her Masters in Computer Information Systems from Boston University she went on to work for Postmates and helped to launch their southeast markets. After having her daughter, and experiencing a non-flexible and mom-friendly work environment she decided to quit her job and became a freelance web developer. Three years later, she co-founded a co-working space for moms in Tacoma, WA, which sparked the idea for her current company, MOMentum Market. She is also the host of MOMentum Radio Podcast, mom to Lily (5) & Lukas (2), and married to her soulmate Edgar. Brooke lives in Durham, North Carolina and is currently writing her first book which will come out later in 2020.
MOMentum Market is an online market of goods and services powered by moms. We are on a mission to get moms paid so they can lead a flexible life. We support our moms through their whole motherhood journey but specialize in a focus on the "in-between" phases of life when you might take a pause from the traditional work environment.
